5 Online Booking Innovations You’ve Been Asking For (And A Couple Of Other Cool Updates Too)
We’ve just released a perfect combo of updates and bug fixes to further streamline your online bookings and beyond.
We welcome your ideas and we enjoy implementing them. With that said, we’ve made some of your recent feature requests come to life.
1. Availability dots on the calendar
The online booking calendar is now adorned with conveniently coloured dots to indicate appointment availability for morning, noon or night. This means that while clients are online in pursuit of their perfect appointment, with just a quick glance, they can see which days have the availability they’re after.
2. Next available with date shown
When a client’s search comes back with no matching bookings found, they will now be shown the next available date linking them straight to their perfect appointment match.
3. The ability to add custom script for things like Google Tags
Okay, let’s keep this simple because we know that SEO isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. But, whether you’re a Digital Marketing Master, or you’re sitting there like “Google what?”, this feature is for you (and if you have no clue, just pass this next sentence onto your computer guy or gal). You can now add custom script for things like Google Tags to your Online Bookings.
4. Bookings now take into account Resources
As you know (or maybe you don’t), you can assign Resources (machines or rooms that are used during a client’s treatment) to specific services, so, when a service that requires a resource is booked with an operator, the required resource is also booked. Now, all online bookings take into account resources too. So, if Clare books the Micro-Dermabrasion Facial online, then the Micro-Dermabrasion Multi-Function Facial Machine will also be booked, automatically.
5. $0 services for online bookings
Think consultations. Often these are services that don’t incur a charge, but you still want clients to be able to book them online. Well, now they can. Online bookings now supports $0 services.
And beyond online bookings, here are a couple of other cool updates.
1. Drag and drop roster items in Advanced Rostering mode
Perhaps you have a couple of staff members who want to swap shifts? Easy. Open the Roster and simply drag the roster items into their new place. Now you can swiftly drag and drop roster items at your convenience.
2. Improved alert messaging when bulk deleting clients
So, you can bulk delete clients, right? Well, now we’ve added an extra alert message to the process to make sure you are 100% certain of the bulk deletion before you commit. No one wants to delete an entire database accidentally.
